928s for Sale

Here is another nice Wisconsin CL 928. '80 Euro 5-speed. Ad says emerald green metallic but I don't think that was ever offered on the 928? Looks like oak green to me but maybe it was resprayed in a more modern green? Anyway great color combo with the green interior. Seller doesn't list a price but based on the last sentence in the ad I think he's saying he would let it go somewhere between $15K and $30K. Paint and interior not perfect, but not bad. If this could be had for under $20K it may be a nice deal for a Euro, pending a PPI of course.

Someone from Michigan should ****** this late passenger seat for $100!
Nice shape, just needs some cleaning. Worth it even if the motors don't work.

Early '86 on CL. 174K miles but the condition looks really good from the few photos posted. Has some nice upgrades and the seller seems knowledgeable about 928s. Also says he has a spare '85 engine and transmission along with some other parts he would include in the sale. Asking $8200. This seems too good to be true, but maybe you never know. Hopefully one of you Wisconsin boys can check it out and report back.

Hi all, I just bought CarlP's 95 off BAT. I'm in the Balto/DC area. When you think of the goto place for service, who can you suggest? I prefer to stay somewhat local, but a short haul is not impossible if that's where the guru is.

No affiliation. 75k is a bit nuts for a Japan import IMO.

Does anyone have an experience with a bad car purchased from Japan can shift my perception?

I buy my Lancias from Japan.
Always the best kept and best spec.
Had a 968 Clubsport that was Japanese market too. Impeccable.

Car sold quickly. I think that these Japanese cars are deeply misunderstood. After all, they are the same as Euros with the exception of the little flares and stickers... I have spent a fair bit of time in Japan and the maintenance / annual inspection process is comprehensive. The cars I have seen have been exceptional.

Japanese cars can can be good or bad, like any auction car. I agree they are miss understood.
The 87 5spd was also lowered to 42k. That car has a comprehensive maintenance record with a well know Indy shop (the owner of that shop has a 928). With only 60 k miles and it’s an ex US car.

Would those fit the tracks for a '83 928?
