Michael,

You should enter the entire series mate. I reckon you would have a super-strong chance of a class and overall series win.

Cheers

So fastest singular lap? In that case Doug and I can tow and chase?

John. What does tow mean?

I seen you mention it frequently but on the SITT I looked for it but couldn't figure out what you meant by it. I couldn't find a tow that I know if, other cars were generally in the way or I was in the way of them (so wave them good by). Otherwise it was ***** to the wall all the way I could tell...

Is it when you are chasing someone who is only a little faster than you? What does it do (does it make you faster in their slipstream?).

We tow each other all the time, an example for you was you following me and seeing no braking lights through the S's any copying. You will learn HD through towing much faster that circulating by yourself.

I tried to get a tow on some corners at Ruapuna from you and ended up frying my tyres........

Yes, chasing someone who is faster, although it pays to have someone who is not a lot faster. The advantage is that you have an instant feedback where you are losing time and after a few laps are going faster.

Ok. I think I understand. Sounds like I will need you to tow me through HD. I think we will both need someone to tow us through Taupo! I hope I can tow you through Manfield....

Getting good at this towing thing already!

Just wandered down and had a look. Hard to believe the wheels are 45 years old. Very happy I bought the same quality manufacture.

Was going to say that Dave's Fuchs looked even more impressive in the flesh but you beat me to it.

Came home today with Dave's seat on John's roof rack. Actually, money did change hands so both are mine now I guess.
Before I can fit the seat though, I'll probably need a 996 slider since the 964 one on it is just straight, rather than curved down at the front.

Anyone got some or want to swap your 996 ones for my 964s? That or have a 996 base?

Found this on BGB Motorsports site for conversion of a stock 2014 Cayman S into a GT3/Cup beating track weapon. Interesting list of upgrades for those who are interested. Talk on the street is their 991S powered Caymans are making 440 bhp stage 3 tune and very quick. I personally doubt PAG will ever go this far with a GT3 as pricing is getting within 10% of base GT3 territory. Mind you the factory could do this cheaper.

Macca, what chance to get a RHD delivery into the USA? If possible picking and choosing off that menu will get a highly tuned road (not race) car for a very nice price
