Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

I liked Highlands. pit arrangement in the morning was cr*p but afternoon good. I enjoyed the long track wit lots of corners fast and slow. Plenty of time yet to be gained in certain places on the track for sure but easier than I thought to get up to a reasonable level of consistency. Wide open track so lots of possible lines.

Based on the listings I'd prefer the targa at $28k. Same mileage, NZ new and at that price you could afford some work to be done. Still get a compression/leakdown done though plus all the usual PPI checks.
Personally I like the targa shape in the 964 but it depends what you're looking for. A few more seals to keep in good nick. Looks good in black.

Graham - I hope you enjoyed my spin in the 993 - you had front row seats.

was plenty far back enough to plan a route around the outside but had to go further out than I thought when you rolled back a bit. All part of the fun. I must say I enjoyed dicing with everyone. Just need a bit more power to keep up with the fast boys but then again don't we all?

Ditto - I really like Highlands too. It's a 4km track so takes a bit longer to learn. Organisation on the day was appalling, but the track was good. I reckon I need another weekend there (2 track days in the row) to remove the easy second's and find the last harder one or two.

It was imported form UK in 1993. Had 3 other private owners (not including the current) each of 6 years. The third owner only did 26K kms in 6 years

A bug kamikaze hit my GoPro lens in the later laps so all I have is a lazy lap. Even then GoPro studio cut a few seconds off the lap. The real vids will have to wait until I have a fast computer and Internet connection.

Great shot. Where is this?
Looks like the trip is going great so far. Am surprised only one car made the run to Milford. I'd make the journey just to take photos (of my car ), but worth it for the drive. Weather would hinder pushing too hard however.
Keep the updates and photos coming, am really enjoying the read when I get a chance to escape 'real life'.
