Started the day at Franz Joseph. Stopped for some photo shoots by the beach and the river, then shark and taties in Jackson Bay. Over Haast Pass then the Crown Ranges, into Queenstown.

Incredibly quick and capable. Its just a seriously great all round car. Easy to drive fast, planted, all mod cons as well. Macca will laugh at this with my history with cars.... but she could be a keeper!
I'll accept its not as pretty as a 911 but I really like it. And from the inside looking out, all I've seen for the last couple of days is 911's.
Teretonga tomorrow - then we'll see what 7/10ths really looks like!

Sure, mine's a REMUS (their capitals not mine). I've never heard it at full revs from outside the car but the Formula Challenge guys at Hampton said it sounded great on track. 70mm ID, 100 cell race cats, nice quad tips, and squeaks in just under the road legal limit for rear engined cars (had it tested). Do you ever come past Drury during the working week? Chris's FVD Brombacher kitted 996T also lurks in these parts but is away terrorising the South Island just now.
