My MPSS were $2200 landed (I think) when I bought them in last year. Looks like $2700 now due to exchange rate and slight cost increase at Tire Rack. Locally they'd be $2900 fitted and balanced, negating any value in importing, although I expect this is based on stock bought in when the kiwi was much stronger.
Just got this back from tire rack yesterday: The total for the Super Sports would be: $1,538.03 including shipping. Both sizes are currently on backorder. The Sport Cup 2 would come to $2,042.00 USD and would arrive in 3-6 business days.
That's for Cayman sizes- 235 and 265 in 19". Just convert to NZD and add GST.

I was thinking the Cup2's at $3450nz were better value...

No bloody way we need to keep as many here as we can.

They were out of MPSS 265s months ago when I was ordering so I got in 275s instead. They've been brilliant.

Chris if there is only $500 USD in it I would go the MPSC2. They will basically make your track wheels and at rodeo ar redundant. You could sell these to john :-)

Yeah I think I agree... I'm just concerned about wet B roads with the MPSC2's.

Anyone know what the cup2's go for in NZ? I'm guessing if Jake just paid $800+ for a MPSS, the cup2's will be well over a grand each...?

They are fine mate. The haven't slowed the GT3 down much on our wet back road runs. The managed winter Europe fine. The ride we did last NITT was epic rain of biblical proportions (others will agree) and they find step our. They are a bit old and hard now but the only place I'd say they are tricky is in pouring rain or standing water on the track...same goes for Trofeo R but more so...,

You should check the NZ prices you may surprised. I know they were around 3900 a set for the GT3 15 months ago when I enquires (at the time ex tire rack was around 2900 landed...

I had them priced up at just under $4K for the GT3.

Track wheels? I'm listening, albeit I've just been gouged $399 for a set of euro plates so I'll need time to recover my finances.

Sounds like the go then. Just need to confirm some local pricing before pulling the trigger.
