I've not monitored them enough to say but also rarely are many advertised to get a feel for the market. I guess your best gauge is what you could land one for ex US and then work back from there.

Given that I already have the 993 this would be my preferred choice

For novelty use I'd say about $20,000.

$15,000 would be a relative bargain. $25,000 would be an expensive garage queen, given the alternatives.

Just watching Wheeler Dealers on YouTube. The car itch is coming back. So many exotics out there for reasonable money.

For sure. I'm doing the sneaky peaks at what could be got for similar money to a longhood build. Fazza 328, 997, 996GT3, M3's, M5's, AMG's, Aston Martin Vantage - it pays not to look.

When I was living in Ger I saw a magazine article where someone put a 3.3 turbo motor in a 914. Was pretty impressive. Read something similar in USA - skidpan figure was over 1 G lateral acceleration. Really good for an early '70's car. Was passenger in f.348 at the "Ring" - not impressed. Bunch of us in 928's hired a Nordschleife coach for weekend, one chap brought 348 - however never been in 328.
Cheers

Bleak weather so far. Glad to be the ones in a car rather than on a bike. Fitzroy overnight, Raglan tonight

I feel for you. Looks like the settled weather is gone. Back to normal Autumn patterns. All I need to do this week is hopefully pick up Herman, which is not weather dependent.

Looks like helping Paul at the PCNZ event in May is my next car fix. Track day in June, if I can get my struts etc fitted and everything settled.

Mantra from here on is no pressure. If I don't have a car ready then I won't stress myself and my wallet to make it happen.

Over 7k since leaving home. Only issues have been a sad battery, blown muffler baffles and badly cracked headlight today. Reliability plus (touch wood)!

Next few days are shorter distances; Tinopai, Opononi, Mangonui

Bugger, as soon as I buy one they become worthless.

Can't give the things away now...........

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=714240283

I see people are picking 64's over 93's in the UK now. Hold on to your 64's.

I also see SC's are now worth $25 UK for a good one - doubled in value over 2 years........

Paul. Thats the stolen & recovered POS isnt it? The guy was trying it on last time and I think a few people nailed him on it! As we agreed thats a car you are up for 10- 20K spend in first 12 months

993s still on average 30% more expensive in UK than 964s. In NZ probably more like 40% but due to 964s being under appreciated here.

If anyone knows anyone interested in a 1996 993 C4S NZ new nice original condition midnight blue service history 138K Km asking mid 70s lket me know as I have a line on one....
