Actually those look way too high. I asked for the fees for the Tour. Let me go back to Gary and see if they are the Tour or the main event...

Gary has come back - the Tour fees are $1000 less per category I have already amended table above....

Back from a long weekend in Sydney, and a little visit to the Throttle shop in North Sydney is worth a visit if ever over those ways. The stock is mostly F car country but a few very clean Porsches in the showroom. A 968 RS Turbo tribute for sale at $60k. A restored 2.4 and an Australian delivered 993RS with 78km that had just sold. Was in beautiful condition.

If anyones over there, the other aficionados to check out are apparently http://autohaushamilton.com.au slightly further north Sydney.

Guess it depends whether Matt is going racing or it's just for track days? With mid 13s at HD in the GT3 already available I'm assuming racing....

Guess we'll find out when Matts ready. Was wondering due his absence this year at Playdays since SITT what's up. Maybe it's a home build, ultima or Xbow :-)

I quizzed Peter Alder on the PSS10 set up today. The small springs are simply keeper springs he said you can compress them very easily. The main springs are progressive and carry bilstein notations that define their character through their spec catalogue. The range quoted is fairly arbitrary. The only thing noteworthy was the ratios. They don't have the firmness range up front to go racing. 600+ at the front seems to be the start point for the cup stuff most much higher but pretty much in drive able on nz broken B roads...

Hmmm... People who think only girls should drive MX5 or Boxsters obviously (to me) have never actually tried one.

300hp in a 2 seater Porsche that goes around any corners snd also sounds amazing is not a girl's car IMO.

I've been looking forward to someone calling me a girl in the boxster for ages so i can plant it and show them up but it never happens.

Reminds me of a time when a mate had a new to him hot subaru and pulled up next to me at the mt wellington lights while I was in the ***** Cayenne SUV Remuera tractor. He could not believe how the Cayenne completely wasted him when it went green. He was gobsmacked and I my Tractor got the respect it deserved :-P

It's ok Doug you have redeemed yourself with the 964. Not saying your credibility was wobbly with your Porsche history being remuera tractor and hairdressers car to that point but at least now we know you probably don't get off on wearing high heels over the stove in the evenings which is kinda comforting :-p . Better still you are now bob the 964 builder so who are we to argue the thickness of your facial hair..... All tounge in cheek of course. No offence to Paul regards the high heels comment was implied nor inferenced

The interior on the 930 needs a freshen up, its a few shades of brown, either going to keep one shade or go black.
Seats re trimmed
Dash restored
New carpets
Not sure what to do about the door cards and bus steering wheel, could go RS style and Prototipo but not sure if period correct. If go black I will need to sort the hood lining aswell.

Any recommendations on suppliers either overseas or here please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Given your fussiness - only Southbound in the UK. But be prepared for no change out of $10k from them plus allow install, but it will look factory. It's a gamble trying local and personally I wouldn't punt it. Better to just paint the brown unless you feel like dropping $15k to do properly.
