Bat Wing sounds slightly better.
NZ Production has an under 2000cc class, though not sure if they split the fields or whether we'd be dodging WRXs and Evos. Chris may know.
Classic Japanese say cars must be 20 years old in some places on their website but 'over 25 years old' in others so not sure if we'd qualify. We'd probably be mid-fielders I guess. Competition includes at least one modded 300ZX twin turbo, with no car allowed under 1.12 at HD, with a 1.20 cut-off between Groups 1 and 2.
Maybe we could look to emulate Holly Boyd and take the Rookie Cup:
Actually, her's was a '91 Civic so there may be hope for the Integras yet.

Pete. Great write up and sounds like you are easing yourself into it nicely. Sorry to hear about the injury.
I have suffered from an accute rotator cup injury (ac joint) for the last 18 months which has meant laying off the exercise to try and recover it (unsuccessfully) through stretches etc (very little in the way of qualified physio etc here!). I was driven to get an MRI in September after seeing a specialist and had a ultrasound guided cortisone injection a few days before flying out of NZ as a last ditch attempt to bring down the inflammation. It has provided some relief but it looks like an operation is imminent in 2015 (3 months down time, probably no driving so you can imagine Im doing my best to avoid that). Since I started the track lark I have been taking ibuprofen prior to each track session. It does wonders for reducing/eliminating the inflammation and pain. I dont take it long term just in NZ before track days in small doses. I suggest as a precaution you consider taking some before your next outing (check with your doctor first). You become an amateur medicine man in the pacific as all drugs are over the counter without a script! My key fear has been needing to use my right arm extensively (avoidance manoeuvre or last ditch attempt to exit a wrecked car!) and being unable to so it provides some insurance. You would need to check the MSNZ handbook to see if if is "allowed" but I did so 18 months ago and recall that it is...
Looking forward to your future commentary and watching your develop as a "racing driver". Good stuff mate!

Macca: Ibuprofen was key to my last few weeks on the mountain. 1-2 in the morning was enough to ride all day. From what I've read it's not a good idea to maintain consumption long term.
Drifting
I'm not nice enough to give a Honda any garage space. It's getting well shat on from the birds in the big tree it parks under, but it is killing my lawn so that's justice. Without back seats and carpet, it is really handy picking up bags of stuff from the garden center. Might have another job for it next weekend; ferrying bulk loads of garden mulch around to the back yard.

BTW I have a load of vinyl to sort out that bonnet issue.
