Just putting a thought expressed last weekend into a wider forum. 13 December represents 2 years since the start of RSG. Must be time for a Christmas bash/anniversary BBQ?

Nasty interior colour but lots of parts to strip off it. So it's a tender on 30/10? I have space for another car.

Glad to see the coolant system is ok ah ah!

This was thecar for sale on TM not so long ago. Ex HK or something IIRC. Looks like the interior finally got to someone. Amazing how litle damage required to write one of these off now. This is well less damage than Dougs car. It could be a viable project to resurrect this car - Doug will have the know how but frankly its still a 20K exercise with paint....

Time for a real 964 hotrod backdate build, nothing to lose chopping that one up. Interior has to go, replaced with minimal black kit and early ST seats. Nothin' fancy.

Someone's gotta do it? I'm busy, Doug's busy, John's doing up Honda's.....need a bit more garage action chaps....

I'm excited.
The purple dash and door caps are challenging but that could be made to work somehow like this Singer.
And RUF wheels....

Dave. Quite honestly after studying the damage unless there is something mechanical Im missing this has to be a sure thing for a viable repair or the beginning of a mega project. Exterior colour is great, wheels very nice, low km and quite honestly there is probably less than $10K of parts needed there if you were shopping around. Im sure a black set of seats and carpet set would be easily obtainable on ebay.com. Assume an auction sale at 15K and the math could work for someone. As a basis for a back date or hot rod project theres simply no thinking required its the best potential donor Ive seen for years...

I just went for a look at it. It's worse than it looks. Taken a front hit by riding up on something so the boot floor is a bit munted at the front edge and whatever the radiator is on the left side in front of the wheel is mashed. That's aircon isn't it? Oil is drivers side? Every panel is marked and the left side wheels have hit something so not sure if it still points straight. Side sills and sharks fins dislodged. More than meets the eye. But bugger me, the engine is dry as a bone. Can't be started for whatever reason and the dude didn't yet know if it was going to be deregistered. Inside is lovely. Has the RUF's and aftermarket springs and shocks.

Looks like a parts car. As Doug is finding out, there's real value in parts so I'm still keen.

If I can remove a 964 from the potential resale pool and make money it will be a double win
