no time t post guys so sorry about that

we have been sharing driving in my car. Day 1 ended good with a class lead but day 2 with Kim driving we had a spin - not much damage but had to get pulled our so lost the stage plus time penalties. dropped down the order but managed to catch up to the rally on the following stage..
day 3 and I was back in the chair and we have retaken second in class. Still 2 days to go and I figure no point in chasing too hard as that's when things compound with more mistakes. by the time we service the car and have a shower its about 8.45 - 9pm so need to go find dinner b4 everything closes.

Yesterday on Targa Tour was brilliant. 6 stages and 150km of closed roads including the most exciting stages thus far. We were in Otago/Southland ending at Teretonga. Today we have 7 stages covering 180km of closed roads ending with the Highlands track. Only 1 accident/withdrawal from the Tour so far (due to mechanical steering failure) which is defying the odds. No issues with the speed. It's a blast.

I'll be looking for a co-driver for North Island Targa Tour next March and it would be great to have a few more RSG crew in on the fun.

Photos over on Facebook. Just search for Doug Hanna and friend me :-)

Wow, nice work on the quick recovery - you must've really been in the zone. Are you catching it all on camera? Think the only vid I'd seen of you before had you flying (the one where you tickled a fence coming out of a left-hander on a ridge).

I got an error indicating that the link was dead, or that I didn't have permission to view it. If it's a post of your own setting it to Public will resolve the problem.

Feels like Total 911 has a bias to the 964 (so do I), just downloaded the 964 generations issue to my Ipad. John you should have a look at the C4 Lightweight, 22 made, 265bhp, 1050kg (170 lighter than an RS).

As a whole I like what this guys done.

It wasn't an article though was it - it was an advertisement for the 964 by a 21 year old! I can't say I agree about the turn in or torque comments ( unless his 964 is non powered steering) and I don't believe I've heard those complaints between the models before. Quite honestly if anyone has decent wheel time between the two the only real difference dynamically is the 993 is more resolved at speed and more stable during transitions. IMO it comes down to styling and historically budget. I can't think of anyone on here that's owned both models but feel free to chime in and correct me if I'm wrong. My 964 drive time is fairly limited....

I prefer a tuna bomb. Saves having to get wet.

Weight reduction is the way to go, but I wouldn't do it with Herman. Still mulling over the damaged C4, albeit I don't need another project right now. Spanner deep under the Integra.
