Really like that Dario 911 too. So many options when looking at aircooled/classic 911 and done properly they are all good.

Doug I reckon you should take this opportunity to reassess the long term with your car - even if it takes a few years. Take the steps along a plan to get it to where you ultimately want to go.

What great advice. It makes me realise that 've been thinking too short term.

In the weekend dreaming and playing in my head and with my hands with colouring pencils (really!) with the red/gold based colour scheme I have in my head and in the end I thought it's safer to keep it all red. But your words inspire me to follow what I want for myself. If I dream enough about what I want ultimately then the steps along the way will all lead to it. I'm sure the plan will also develop/evolve along the journey but it needs an ultimate vision.

Thinking long term / ultimate personalisation is much more inspirational. Thanks Graeme.

As predicted. Lets hope it turns up on here shortly. Was discussing with another RL member here today and that would make 11 or 12 of us on this board with 993's! Who would have thought...

good man.

I have got both my targa and track toy in various states of disassembly at the mo. plenty of love going into both.

Also have been taking the 911 to work a bit and the webasto petrol burning heater/demister is good. Warms the whole car quickly and is compact/light. It sits in the smugglers box

Yes, Buster has quite a lot of old pics on Dad and things around that time..
When Margy did her story on Dad, she chatted a lot with Eion
I'll email you a few other shots
I'll bring her story along on the 7th. Interestingly, when in Edinburgh I ended up talking with Graham Eade (Eade Cars,Greenlane) in our hotel bar, and he had a copy he had sourced from England..small world we live in..

Just got the new playday dates and see there's a session on Oct 4th. That one I can definitely make.

Are you guys going to be burned out after NITT or likely to be a RSG group?

Nice. Overhead transverse leaf spring. Shows how the F1 stuff trickles down - here's how to up the handling on a Triumph Spitfire with similar:

Walter, Tony Rundle may be a starter for the 23rd.

Playdays are thin on the ground after that. Co-owners make sure you get your money's worth!

I reckon Doug, that you could personalise Lola plenty but keep her in touch with her original past. Provided all mods are reversible then there is no harm in doing your own thing. If you have a long term ownership view, then a makeover now and maybe next time she needs a freshen up it could be back to original if that's what takes you at the time.
964's are a good base for hot rodding into a RS type spec where big wheels, race buckets and carbon fibre works, backdating to a longhood, a singer type spec or a new style that has yet to be found.
