Good idea everyone. FWIW Ni-Vanuatu are big eaters of rice, tinned fish, 2 minute noodles etc.

Jesse Ball owns a water factory on Waiheke and has donated a dozen boxes of water bottles. So we are now quite good for water. The rice idea is good. I've tapped a mate who is GM of a Placemakers store for products at cost. Here's hoping there.

I left the gardening to watch some of the racing and it looks like Peter was doing his own gardening at the track! Good pics Leong.
Btw some strange driving habits from fellow motorists on the motorway. One woman in a Peugeot 406 sat in the fast lane at 94km/hr ) (indicated so probably 90km/hr). then sped up to 115km/hr to close a gap when I went in the slow lane to get around her. I had to wait a km or so to get a gap she couldn't close. The R does very nice lane switches

Those pics are flattering in that I appear to be facing the correct way at least. No doubt Leong has the 'other set' which show me pointing in a completely different direction!

BTW GT6 is helping me already in that you have to keep eyes focused well ahead to make the corners. That should make my lines more flowing at HD.

Moochier aka Chris T.
If you didn't know, the most active R discussions seem to be on Pistonheads. I'm going to try their alignment suggestions tomorrow at CCS.
7mm spacers up front for turn in. Move top mounts in by the maximum to give -1.2 camber then straight or slight toe in. Might go with the later as it puts more heat in the fronts and we are coming to the colder months.

I suppose you need to find the limit to be competitive. My driver training book suggests you can tame a wild driver but not make a conservative driver truly fast. There goes my career option

Pete, never mind those other photos - we're hanging out for the video, or at least a nice animated gif like John treated us to.
Leong, those are great hero shots though!

I had the cameras on front & back all weekend - but the power cable had popped out during that race so no evidence . You can see the camera guys over the wall though so I'm sure when the PCNZ disc of all photos from the round comes out there'll be some more incriminating ones.

Placemakers Victoria Park are happy to help in any way they can but with the container going on Weds there's no guarantee things labelled for Mele will get to them. Macca and Jo advise that all goods donated will be well used - there are many villages and islands in great need.
Internet access is very sporadic and Jo is happy for me to copy the content of our FB chat to those of you wondering how they're getting on.......
