And the Turbo 3.6!!

Sharkfin clips arrived today. Stone guard decals should arrive during the week then I can fit it all and go for a drive on the 20th. Alignment after that and then I have three fully functioning cars. One too many so I may have to brave Trademe. If I don't get much interest I may pin the pipes and put some track tyres on to keep the 993 honest, assuming it will run post 3/8!

Paul, every time PAG release a new model it must, by definition, have more power and be faster. That may have something to do with it :-P

I registered too. Said I did 1.31 but I suspect Paul will put the 964s together with him and macca behind so they can wave as they shoot past. I only have my crappy old R888s John and no new alignment or mods so you are safe for another day.

Done, thanks for the heads up.

Haha, I put 1.30. Can't even get that right your turn to lead me into Turn 1 so I can find my 0.75 seconds. No improvements this time other than the PFC08 pads upfront. No time to do ducting etc. I'll just do my best to bridge that 60kg weight advantage Lola has!

Is Macca staying on for the Sprints?

No excuse Dougie - it took PAG 20 years to make a non-turbo car faster than the 2.7 RS.

I'm having the same problem with photos on both iPhone and iPad apps. Something about a parse error. Have to load through the web page.

BTW the FB 964 page has 9,000 members. The number of modded cars out there is incredible. Doug, keep Lola original.
As long as Pete's not looking for a manual 993. They seem like rocking horse poo this year on TM. Im not sure Ive seen more than one ropey ex turners auction one (twice!).

I was counting the 964 vs 993 regular contributors on this thread. 6 x 993 and 5 x 964. Seems upside down...

John why not join us with the 3.6 for Ron's drive? Paul's going to join me in the GT3. Im sure he'd love a turn at yours too ;-)

P.S. Im in town for 10 days and 2000km but unfortunately not for the sprints...

Safe to joke about it now since they're onto mine big time (and some of the delay was mine). Will look out for you at the coming karts/sprints/gymkhana days.
But better than a turn 1 puddle???? (according to Chris...)

I don't get back into the Country until late afternoon on the 19th. I'm hoping that my stone guard decals will be in from Pelican by then, but I don't think I'd be popular diving straight into fitting them, then there's the question of alignment etc. a long way of saying that I'll save any driving until visiting the guys at the endurance race on the 26th. Karts on 27th. Sprints on 3/8. A busy Winter.

Are you going to the Endurance race at HD? Maybe we can convince Terry to do the test there.

I'd be surprised if you need extra cooling for the 08's on your car? I don't even think I'm actually getting them hot enough on my car to break in properly. Be interesting to see what you think of them.
