Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

I have been using the Evo App for a whole and really enjoy the fact the articles are in HD with exceptional video and columns. I find the trickle nature of the articles suits me as there will be a new one every couple of days instead of a heap of reading once a month. I would recommend it but also like the feel of paper sometimes.
Good luck with the car hunting John. Thanks for the BB maintenance. I feel I should be doing more.

Have sorted this for Ralf this morning. Will drop you a note to make sure I have properly accounted all other BB costs.
Have put my $100 in for the next round of costs.
Main thing for BB is to make sure she lasts to NITT for Doug!
Re the traces, 'momentum' is a kinder way of suggesting that for some its harder to scrub the weight off....
You can see the flip side of that dynamic in not being able to reach the same pre-braking speed on the short straights even with foot flat to the floor - the lower powered car seems to be a lot more sensitive to weight!

It cost each co-owner ~ $180 to buy BB and sort out brakes, fluids etc to give a sorted starting point.
Thereafter we are expensing ~ $25 per session in consumables (it will drop to ~ $23 when the cheaper pads are used).
So, initial $200 pays for the sorted car and one session of consumables. If you stop there, then you continue to own a share in the car, but have no need to pay further calls.
Thereafter, your call funds are paying for expenses incurred and those eventually to be incurred from your use, excepting major repairs.
We are still early enough in the use to record session use and work it out that way. What do you guys think?
I like it from the point of view that we keep it all visible.
Please note I still don't have a plan for a major breakdown or bingle. Except to say I think it would be big boy pants time and just accept it as something that will happen. We could use that to revise a BB2 car view !

Yes you're probably right - its interesting though that both approaches are so close in total lap time. We just need to work out that fast in, fast out line to make Matt's theoretical 1.25!!

Agreed, although not sure the theoretical lap is possible given it pieces together a mixture of the two different corner approaches and creates an impossible scenario. Still believe mid to low 1.27's is practice and will be cracked by someone sooner rather than later.

The 1:25.xx was certainly a joke (actually down to 1:24.551 with the data from John's Solo). You can get pretty accurate theoretical laps with careful split selection, but in this case I'm using the defaults from RS2 which is 13 splits and suffers from overfitting.
Low 1:27 are definitely possible and probably not many sessions away. Taking a more realistic approach to the split times, I think the car is capable of a mid 1:26 or a bit lower.
I really need to focus on the hairpin, I could feel my time and speed bleeding away each time I hit it, and the data certainly backs that up.

Matt, for some reason of human kind we are all different and even in F1 the theoretical time by taking the best segments of all the drivers is well lower than the best individual - pole. of course thy have the best telemetry and simulators as well. So pretty hard to get near sum of the the best segments.

Mid 1.26 would be a competitive time in 2k cup, albeit we need a VTI R engine to be truly competitive.

With that we get some money in the account for future maintenance and repairs.
The costs are with the people using BB.
And if there is to much money accumulating in the account we take it for a BBQ or some other activity?
Just my 5 cents.
