One more thing Jason, if my now deleted post affects the selling price of your car, I'll reimburse the difference, I'm 100% serious.

just sayin' - I put my vote for looks in the .2 camp.
that might be the case for me also but it's that Orange I can't get over and it's on a .1 so I have to lean that way.

Achieved price seems fair, similar to the white .1RS that sold in February. Someone who genuinely wants an RS will generally research the BS and smoke.

Congrats to buyer and seller of the RS. I think a fair price for both parties.

I think that was a very fair price on the Orange RS. Congrats to both parties!

wow, ^^^ now your attacking Doug? ... what purpose does that serve,.... really.

anyway,... back to regularly scheduled programming....

I know you guys think pcar market is sub-stnd,... but I still think that with less bidders in the room, there's opportunity to get a deal.... anyway, this one still has zero bids with 4 days left....
.... it's another car out of Canada, but the speedo says "MPH" ...
( ... shame no undercarriage pics)

Referencing the memo from Porsche regarding the RMS leak on 997 GT3's, this letter was issued in 2008, that means within the first year enough owners complained about leaking RMS that Porsche decided to prepare and issue a technical response to owners. Replacement of RMS seems to have a 50/50 success rate with respect to 'eliminating' the leak, if it really bothers you, install the TT RMS and be done with it.
i lost a sale over a very slight rms leak. There apparently is now a new seal and tsb with a new Porsche specific tool....now im ready to sell again

I hope the white on red RS does well, but until a DME is posted that may hold it back. In order to submit your car, it should be required to have DME. It just eliminates that question that you know everyone is going to ask. DME reports may be slightly over played as someone could have bounced it off the rev limiter on cold oil, but it is one indicator that is useful for knowing how the car was driven.

Best of luck with the sale. I was thinking about your GT3 recently since it was for sale at the same time I was buying mine and I was considering both. Was wondering when you would be selling again. Your spec is so good, you should have no problem selling.

997 GT3 stage one over rev is 9k, the only way to register a stage one is bad driving.

I'm amazed at the number of stage ones I see. That's a lot of bad driving LOL.

No idea why they placed Range 1 so high, ABOVE the rev limit, in 997 GT3. This way, every ignition in every range is solely due to bad downshifts. And a car that's been bounced against the rev limit all its life will show ZERO over-revs as long it has been downshifted correctly.

This is true. Maybe I should have specified that it doesn't mean it has been tracked. Since you could bounce it off the limiter all day long on the track and never get an over rev. My point was that you could bounce it off the limiter all day on cold oil and that won't show up. But someone could downshift a bit early on the street and get an over rev.
