I'm shopping for a 2013 - 2015 RS5.
I know they are not a "sports car", but I like the looks of the coupe and then exhaust can sound sweet.
I spend a lot of time riding bicycles and have a fine ear for exhaust sounds........
Any thoughts?
Cheers
Craig

But then rsierra is super glad he didn't, because he wouldn't have gotten the PTS deal of the century.

Good car for what they are going for now. I have had a 2011 S4 for 6 years now. My friend had an RS5 last summer. The engine is special, but you do need an exhaust and even with the AWE Track Exhaust that my friend put on, it was just loud enough, I would have preferred louder though especially in the upper RPM's. Just be ok with less torque than you may like for a daily driver. The one advantage to the 3.0T Supercharged Engine in the S4 or S5 is that you get more torque down low and for a daily driver that is what I prefer. Also the RS5 at least for me does have less headroom and Audi driving position is never exactly how I would like it compared to BMW, specifically the newer F80's. Solid car.

You had a GT Specialist though which makes it ok and makes sense. If you have someone that knows these cars inside and out, then I wouldn't have an issue doing that. When I buy a watch from a trusted seller, I don't have as much concern sending them money before holding a watch in my hands. But if I was buying from some random person online, or a random dealer without as much credibility, there is no way I would feel comfortable doing so.

I flew to Montreal from Dallas several years ago to look at a 'pristine' 7.2 GT3RS' that I had a deal on pending inspection and PPI. Moment the cover came off the car I knew I'd wasted the trip. Many times a seller's and buyer's opinion of pristine are far different.
I bought a 1991 NSX back in 1994 with 12K miles from a reputable exotic car dealer in Springfield, MO. Car seemed perfect when it arrived. Wasn't too long later when the passenger door started fading differently from the rest of the car. It had been repaired and painted. Back then I hadn't even heard of paint metering. Not sure it was even around.
Problem right now is who wants to fly somewhere to look at a car? Not me.
