Auction doesn’t seem to be off to a great start. A lot of uncertainty and think it will result in a no sale. Also states it as a euro example, but stickers around the car are in Japanese. Think correct term would be to call it a RoW car as it looks like a Japanese-market example.
Defensive, uninformed seller not helping the cause. Oh well. Maybe some lucky neighbor up north gets a great deal.
Good spec, has most check boxes…pccb look good, the muffler was upgraded to OE Titanium, can’t tell who’s tips those are
should do well
Definitely an OEM center muffler but I guess with the bluing it’s made from titanium which the RS uses. Surprised someone would upgrade to one of these as they aren’t cheap, don’t really improve the sound, and are also prone to cracking and failing. There are aftermarket options that are cheaper, sound better, last longer, and are even lighter despite most not being titanium as they as smaller and less complex.

yea I dunno, I could speculate that a previous owner had aftermarket muffler so he put it back to stock-ish before the auction. 991 Ti mufflers are much more plentiful than OE stainless 997 GT3 and are identical… other than the metal ofc
The BAT grey red GT3 RS which sold for 344k must be a new high especially for a car which has had some paint work? I remember I was getting offers for 285 for a my nearly identical spec car with 7900 miles. 400k by 2025?
Meanwhile I can get a LHD 4.0 RS shipped to my house in Japan for $450k. I'm trying to convince the wife to buy it and sell it once it hits 25yrs and is legal to sell in the states. Euro buckets too!

It’s not a huge deal as long as it was driven well, properly maintained, and not abused or neglected. A lot of guys did do this, but some didn’t. If the car is well cared for and maybe a few upgrades one being pinning the coolant lines the car should work without issues. These cars were built for the track and they can take a good beating. Remember they ran a 997.2 GT3 RS at the Nurburgring 24 hours and it ran without any mechanical issues. Finished 13th overall. They had to make some changes to comply to class regulations (slightly stiffer springs, different wheels and tires, roll cage, etc.) but the powertrain was completely stock.
Agree 100% always buy the seller. If they have a stack of service records, good dme, no accidents then don't hesitate to buy the car that's seen the track.
RoW Carrara White .1 GT3 Clubsport with 105 km (65 miles). Pretty much off limits to US buyers, but not so for ones in Canada. Car is located in Greece.
997 RS market continues to be Hot. Congrats to the new owner of the white RS from SwitchCars! What a beauty ! Down to only a few ON MARKET CARS.
