I just wish the prices of real estate and every day essentials weren't up nearly the same percentage as we're seeing with the cars :/
Anyone who “wants a ST” will certainly consider The 997 single mass flywheel cars (.1 and .2 RS) which seem to be getting more and more expensive every week, even though most markets are in a dip.

I feel like it might be time to revisit my agreed value insurance amount if that's what it would take to replace mine.

Everyone will have their opinion on value, but IMVHO 997GT cars have been undervalued when ADM's on newer cars (are worth = to more than) the price of a 997GT car.

997GT cars are the perfect size and proportion for a modern car, they just feel and look right, along with the steering, handbrake, simple gauges, heavy clutch, magical shifter, Mezger engine. As time goes on, the 997 will only stand out more in this regard.

From what I’ve seen and heard about the ST I wouldn’t trade my 997.2 RS for it. Haven’t driven one in fact very few if any have been delivered yet in the US, but there is very little I like better about it than the car I already have. Only things that I can possibly think of are that the ST is faster and it revs to 9k rpm. Not really things I think about when driving my 997 RS as the car for me is plenty fast enough for the street and I don’t constantly rev to redline. Even the numbered limited edition ST isn’t as rare as some of the past non-limited production models (1,963 ST, ~1,500 997.2 RS, ~1,100 997.1 RS) only limited by the number of cars they could sell or their production capacity.

All great points.

And buyers of the ST may start wanting the more raw & smaller 997 experience in addition to their ST. Like someone said above, ST is a BIG CAR.

997- last of the smallish 911s, true to the heritage

That is the worst photography I have seen on any BaT auction. I’m actually surprised they listed the car with these pics. They contain every mistake you can make. Bad shadows, blown out highlights, crappy background, distracting objects, and on and on. I feel bad for the seller, I think he is leaving money on the table. Dreams sell these cars to some degree. You have to create the image of perfection.

The presentation on this car is bad. Obviously the seller didn’t pay extra to have the photos professionally taken as the lighting and background are terrible. Also looks to have been taken with their phone and don’t think the car was even detailed. Seller could be leaving thousands on the table or result in a no sale because of this poor presentation.

The door handle color looks ok to me, but the photos aren’t good so not 100% sure.

He didn't even bother to wash the poor car! There's dirt all over on the close-up photos
