Sure thing. To the points below, the car may not have had the rear quarter repainted, but I’d say it’s relatively likely. Not that it should prevent you from buying the car. These are 15 year old cars that are driving around. Things are bound to happen to them, unfortunately.

For some reason when replying to this post, I was thinking of a different black GT3, the one in post 6 here. https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...m-up-here.html

However, that is not the case. I don’t have any knowledge on the car Aviato mentioned being repainted so I can’t confirm or deny that.

You're totally right, they can come loose with or without window seal removal, which is typically done during a repaint. But in most cases it’s caused by window seal removal during a repaint. Either way I’d want paint meter readings on the car.

Correct, it’s when removing the rear window seal that rivets need to be removed. This is typically done during a repaint although with these cars getting older it could be due to a window seal replacement alone. Either way, I’d want to know more about the history.

Thanks everyone for clarifying! Wrong car in mind after a busy day.

Nice to see the White Gold accents as they look so much better than the Red. The White cars are the only ones that carry the Red accents well.

3 New Sets of Track Wheels/Tires ($28k) + Original Set

Doors + hood are in bubble wrap

The only thing I haven't fount out is how the cage is attached if its welded or bolted, I would guess bolted given the amount of time Cantrell spent doing parts inventory, everything else is reversible and not complicated... just time consuming.

PM me if your interested and want a project... told him I wouldn't connect him to tire kickers, or non-members, as I've mentioned before the owner unfortunately passed away in Aug before he had a chance to use it.

Interesting. Someone shopped it to me last week for $425k. I recognized the car and sent them the Gooding auction!

I don't have an issue with an upgraded stereo. Esp if there is a rear camera. There's nothing wrong with cranking a little Mott the Hoople during a vigorous drive.

It's good enough for The Stig.

Ended up not purchasing this - although it has a full D4 package on the vehicle the dealer seemed to skimp out on some easy fixes that I was hoping to get done before making a deposit (cracked tail-light, paintless dent removal on rear bumper and removing the half cage), I hope they realize without the D4 package the car is sort of a wash since its missing the actual PCCB and only has yellow calipers.

Did you get an answer (with paint meter readings) on whether or not it had paint work? Just curious with the outward dent on the rear quarter.
