Zweck has this Carrara White .2 RS with 19k miles and FAL. Car appears to be stock with the exception of the rollbar with the harnesses and the aftermarket pedals. Also the decals were removed, the front rotors were changed back to OEM as it had Girodisc’s on a year ago, and the Rennline floors were removed. Car is priced at $290k. Looks like this is one of the cars of the famous Snaveed as he bought it off BaT a year ago.

So Snaveed bought this thing (we think) but the seller didn't register a sale, Snaveed didn't register the car, and now it shows up at ZWECK a year or so later? Maybe a no-sale to Snaveed and it's on commission at ZWECK from the original owner? Even if Snaveed took it out of the country, as some speculated, I would assume the seller would file a sale report with their state?

I might be unfamiliar with how CarFax works / reading too much into this but wouldn't the "free" one on BaT update over time? When you click the one on the BaT above (https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...081&source=BUP) it shows nothing about a registration after the the BaT sale. Ok, maybe they can time-limit the report to only what was pre-BaT sale however you can play with the URL to remove any reference to BaT (I assume BTR = BaT). The Carfax URL w/o any references to BaT still shows the full data but again zero history of registration around the BaT sale https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...AC2A9XBS783081. If you try to search CarFax for the VIN they say "14 records" and sure enough both links above have 14 records making me think they are up-to-date.

All of those BAT cars where shipped to and sitting in a warehouse in IL as a hedge against inflation. How they where paid for is another story which is just hearsay so I will leave that alone.

It probably worked...although I would say a lot of his bids are what set the current market.

I made a separate post, too, but just wanted to give a shout out to this thread for posting the GT3 I bought. Wouldn’t have otherwise found it! Well, @jreifler saw the post and sent it to me, but none of that would have happened without this thread, so thanks gang!

RapidGT is the man. I’m positive he is the reason many members are able to be aware of and buy their cars. His post certainly helped me acquire my car.
