The 997 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...
$121k for a car with good service history, no incidents, 20k miles and this is the first time that VIN shows up in this thread? Wheels, spec and color might not be for everyone's taste, but as a quality car to drive, I haven't seen anything like that sell in that range for a while...and there is nothing remotely close (no comp that I am aware of) available on the open market right now. Maybe if it was white add another 25%?
Screaming deal, especially considering what else is out there.

Legit doesn't make any sense and I don't think white commands a substantial premium on any other Porsche that I can think of

I work for Grand Prix.
Switchcars first sold before the accidents (2016 & 2017) and after the accidents to our (Grand Prix) end customer, who then consigned/sold the car through us to current owner. The previous owner didn’t crash it - he had it paint corrected, tracked it a few times, installed a goofy auto-blip box, and moved on to the next one.
For reference on value: our modified, CarFax-disclosed airbag accident (photo documented and photos provided to our buyer) white 7.2 GT3 noted a few pages back in this thread took $25k+ more than the current high bid on this car (we even raised the price $10k as we got too many inquiries the first 10 hours). I think this car will do fine in the market with newly announced repairs disclosed by whatever dealer this ends up with, but a shame that the auction was tarnished late in the game. BaT should have pulled it and tried again in a few weeks.

As expected, your comment overdelivered in B.S and underdelivered in everything else. The pieces are slowly coming together and it’s not a good look. You and other shady dealers have been passing along these turds as cream puffs with impunity. A google search of Grand Prix Motors is enlightening as to how you conduct business. Better yet, you have a documented history of trying to pass off storied cars with no disclosure to potential buyers on this forum as well. How coincidental!
And back to this car, are we supposed to believe that dealers such as yourself operate at the expert level and can’t tell a hackjob repair on a low mileage six figure car with a crooked front end and sloppy seam sealer everywhere?
I wouldn’t be surprised if the omission of prior repairs originates to you representing the car the last time it transacted.

Thanks for the shout out on BaT, Grand Prix Motors! It was an immediate giveaway of your room temperature IQ.

You are as nitpicky as they come. You are telling all of us you took this car back from your client who crashed it, without knowing exactly what was repaired, only having estimates and no confirmation of who did what work; then sold it to another of your customers? And 4 years later you drop a bomb on someone else's auction for the car? How does that add up

503.993, your behavior is exactly why I am very hesitant to engage with used car dealers. I am looking for a dedicated track car and noticed you just got a Cayman R. I was about to inquire about this car even though I know Grand Prix’s reputation is far from being stellar and that you are not ashamed about overpricing your cars. Well, now I know I don’t need to waste my time with you guys.
I am not sure you understand that by continuing to posts here and on BaT regarding this 997.2 GT3 you are only making things worse for you and your employer.

That is fine if you do not want to do business with us. We believe in being direct.

I love 997 GT3/rs, they're really so amazing and always will be...but all this kind of stuff is why I really only stick to ordering brand new GT cars form the Porsche dealer only I have driven, and fortunately specced, given Porsche still makes amazing sports cars (unlike everyone else that gave up the last decade)
