SY .1 GT3 with PCCB and full leather, clean history. No price yet but looking so delicious. Someone gotta act fast!
This one is a fantastic side imo. Pretty much exactly how I would do it if I had the choice.

What's one to do with that car? Park it and wait for it to rise some more?

It's a very expensive piece of art at that point. Fingers crossed the prices stay the same or go up (again).

Someone who's looking to buy this more than likely already has a ton of cool exotics to drive and can just leave this one sit in their collection. We'll see it FS again in a few years with seven miles added to the OD.

A little surprised they didn't pull the cage out of it to better fit with the pampered creampuff image.

Salvage title Gt Silver .1 GT3 on Cars and Bids. Carfax says it sustained “minor” damage to the front end and roof last year. From the photos the front end was minor, but the roof was caved in a bit.

The definition of "minor" seems to be a bit of a stretch there lol.

As gnarly as the roof looks in the pics, how much do you think the structural integrity of the car was compromised? I'm comforted by the fact that it wasn't a high-speed impact, but I have no idea what would go into repairing roof damage and how to diligence if it was fixed properly.
My '04 GT3 just got totaled, so looking hard at a 997 GT3 as a replacement. This would be a forever vehicle, so not concerned about resale value as long as it's at a low enough price.

Would have been a perfect candidate for a sunroof delete. I'd want to know if the roof was replaced or repaired. If replaced, it wouldn't bother me really. For some reason the roof line looks odd to me in photos - may just be the angles.

IIRC this car sold somewhere near $70k with the damage.

Any thoughts on where the market is these days for a 997.2 GT3?

Sounds like the owner who caused the damage bought it off PCar and put it on a 4-post lift and promptly sent it into the ceiling of his garage and totaled it.

I’m terrified of this as there’s metal beams on the ceiling of my garage. Mark a spot on the lift so I always know where to lift it. A point where it leaves enough space on the bottom and above my cars roof. Maybe not enough for an SUV or truck, but enough for a normal size or sports car.
