This is an example of shady used car dealer practices. Not pricing a car correctly and then raising it because of “all the inquiries”. I know, it’s a free country, blah blah blah but this is one of the sketchiest things a dealer can do.

And what a reputation it is, can’t thank you enough, Doug, for your transparency and fair deal you made for me to “switch cars” from my GTS vert to the GT3. Loving it like crazy, was the perfect car for my price point and transaction requirements.

Congrats buddy! that’s how I bought mine, too, and knew what areas to focus on during the PPI and what to ask Doug so I didn’t sound as bad as the newbie I really was.
now to update my build thread…so much to share including how right Doug was about the condition of my car’s heavily tracked engine. Compression and leakdown were flawless as he expected; didn’t get a chance to do it during PPI and looks like I never needed to!

@Upscale Audio It's a good feeling to pay forward, but it's a great feeling to get brand new garage cabinets for pennies on the dollar. Thanks for that deal Kev. Now that I have about 6 months of free time from work, I can do the garage up and get them installed. Also, I think my arm is well enough to drive a manual transmission and I'm dying for a drive. Hopefully the roads will be clean enough in a few weeks.
this car was for sale at tactical fleet for several months, if not close to a year. last price there was $149K until about a week or two ago. It must've been wholesaled it to this dealer that has it now. Car has paintwork on it and an odd DME. The story is that it sat outside in the back of the Tactical Fleet building for over a year with a camo wrap on it and it got baked on so well that it peeled the paint when they removed it. google the vin for more posts on it.
Can’t really say I’m surprised. Price is now $175k.
So Grand Prix, doesn't even take new pictures, they use old pictures, don't disclose any paintwork or history, then common on here and try to defend themselves for being accused of being a shady dealer. HA! Shady is as shady does!
