the left rear quarter of that car was repainted and blended into the door. I’m shocked no one in the comments picked up on this. Still good deal in my opinion, even with the paintwork, some scratches and dents, and tires showing cords. Put a few K into it and get it cleaned up and you have a great driver for $145k with fees.

Wow you are really good at spotting that, there is no way the buyer knew this thing has had body work....That reallllll bad
On a side note... is it me or does it seem like it's been ages since a White/Gold 7.2 RS has come up for sale?
It’s been a few months. The last ones for sale on the public market were the car at Isringhausen with 12k miles for $350k and the Jesse James car with the Sharkwerks 4.1 engine upgrade. 2 or 3 come up for sale a year of varying quality. I haven’t seen a blue/gold one come up for sale on the public market since before the pandemic.

I remember that RS and also the CGT. Both were there for about a year. CGT may have been there even longer. The car had 13k miles and they were asking $170k. I was looking for one of these cars at the time, but never considered the one at South Bay because it didn’t have PCCB’s. Speaking of pre-pandemic (crazy spike) prices there was this gray/gold one with 2k miles for $210k (nowadays probably worth not too far off double). Came up for sale right at the start of the pandemic and car market completely dried up for a few months. Car sat for several months as really nobody was buying cars. I did seriously look at this car along with the white/gold one I ended up getting (both similar miles, condition, spec, and asking price). I ended up going with my car for a few reasons. In hindsight I could’ve bought both and sold one now or last year and the profits would’ve covered the other making it essentially a free car. Wouldn’t have done this as I don’t buy cars to make profits, but crazy to think about.

you may have tossed the tire cords into your list, but picture # 105 shows the rear tires with full tread.
the fronts. Inside edge worn through to the cords. Look at the inspection report. It has better pics.
Ahh. Pic # 117.
kept looking at pic #27, left front, and seeing outer tread there too. But never saw the detail on pic 117 inspection report stating inside block showing cords. You guys really look at every dang element of these auction listings!! impressive.
How can you tell the left quarter was painted and blended? The inspection report?
yes, from the paint meter readings on the inspection report. It’s actually the right (passenger side). I copied the typo from the report but it’s actually referring to the right side.

Brooklyn Auto Sales or whatever just had one on market for what seemed like a great deal. Assuming it sold already? IIRC it was a 40k mile car for like 220?
