The 58k mile 997.2 that was on FB marketplace for 103 then jacked up to $120k is now being auctioned on PCAR market. Wonder if someone bought it to flip or if the last owner decided to go the auction route.

For street, PCCB are the only way. I have never tracked them, only ordered steels for track cars but have several with PCCB now and love them since 2002.

I've known the owner of Driven for nearly twenty years, and he's had this one as one of his personal car for a least the last couple of years. He's a longtime Porsche guy and meticulous owner who really knows cars. Give Stuart a call and you won't find a more knowledgeable, nicer guy to work with.

Considering this is your 1st post, you may want to introduce yourself to RL properly.
This thread in particular is full of valuable information from a few members who give their time to provide it basically on a daily basis.
It's pretty hard to find what is available here.

Just a thought.

Sorry. Long term lurker of Rennlist and specifically this thread as I'm a fan of the 997 generation GT3. From the midwest region and occasionally FL. Grew up around cars and the all different types of driving scenes, but at my current age just want to enjoy a nice spirited drive and feel the road/track. Hoping sooner rather than later to getting into one of these amazing machines. And of course great community here with highly passionate and knowledgeable members. Thank you all for the information and help.

No sale at 117k, seems the market is declining on these a bit. Seller didn't help himself much though with the presentation and lack of commenting and engagement. I think the final bid is realistic for the car considering how presented, etc.

The white one on Pcarmart is closing soon. It's already doing better.

117 is well under market value. I get why it didn't get bid higher, but that doesn't mean it's worth only the final bid. In an auction format, almost all bidders are buying sight unseen. Either the seller, through presentation and engagement, eliminates any doubts and inspires the confidence to bid full value, or he sows doubt and gets bids which reflect the risk discount for purchasing something uncertain. The latter happened in this particular auction.

That's why I said considering the presentation I think it was fair, after auction fee's the car would really be 122k which IMO in the cooling market is on the money.

SPoke to Stuart about 2 years ago when he bought this car (I think this was the exact car) and he seemed like a standup dude. I remember he had owned a GT3 before and let it go too soon and he wanted to spend more time with this one. Looks like a really nice example.

No doubt the market's cooling, however, the 997 '3's availablity is getting fewer and farther in between....
