What did you do to your 997 today?

Not a damn thing. Just a Macanudo, then a Montecristo, a pale ale, a 75 degree day, a sunset and a garage full of fun cars. Got to stop and smell the roses before work tomorrow.

Road trip...
I figured with all the new stuff in the car I should take it out for a little drive and so as to be responsible I'd make a pizza run. I really like Rocky Rococo pizza which is now only located in WI. So I planned a route to New Berlin WI via IA.
503 miles later I picked up my pizza.

Didn't do all of this work today, but installed it all today. I think that counts
After installing the numeric shifter last month I thought it was sad to hide it under the stock shift boot...
So I bought the shift trim from a Tip 997, took off the gear selector piece, extended the top forward about two inches and then flocked it.
Then worked with WC Lathe Werks on a Titanium shift **** and shaft. I had them extend the shaft another inch lower because I wasn't running a boot and I wanted it to completely cover the metal shaft of the shift lever.

Yep, it's my dream shop but the ironic part is now that I have the money and time, I don't do as much work out there as I should.
The car is a '72 TR6. It's been in the family for about 40 years. My uncle had it for the last 35 years and retired so I bought it. After a brutal experience with a TR250 when I was in college, I vowed never to buy another British car, but the family discount on this one was too strong to pass up. My wife dislikes all of my cars except for this one. Go figure.
Hell if I know why these are rotated?

Good people to deal with. Pricing is very reasonable, especially given the high quality.

Well it started with new rotors and pads
then decided to powder coating my calipers
then rebuilt my calipers with a RacingBrake kit (great quality)
then changed to Eibach Springs (Thanks to all that contributed to TheBruce thread on changing them out. Really pretty easy) Pelican Parts has them on Sale...
yes I know the cup washer is upside down. It was corrected before the struct assembly went back in
Front done
Waiting on rear bushings. They looked worn out once I got a look at them
No pics, but I fixed my sunroof motor and changed the oil while I am waiting on rear strut bushings and bump stops
