Ok you say "a little better than factory short shift", so if someone already has the fact short shifter, it would'nt be that much of an upgrade?

After installing the numeric shifter last month I thought it was sad to hide it under the stock shift boot...
So I bought the shift trim from a Tip 997, took off the gear selector piece, extended the top forward about two inches and then flocked it.

Then worked with WC Lathe Werks on a Titanium shift **** and shaft. I had them extend the shaft another inch lower because I wasn't running a boot and I wanted it to completely cover the metal shaft of the shift lever.

Kudos my friend. Very cool and unique. I like it!

Created a video on how to fine adjust replacement switches for some older cars with severe HVAC interior wear

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I could not disagree more with yours on this. Did you only do the shifter and not the cables? I did both and my car shifts nothing like it did with the OE short shifter. Many have said it, but it is transformative.

I'm debating on this myself. I do have the OEM short shifter. So the question is, do I want the IPD plenum and GT3 TB or the Numeric setup. Both are in the $1100ish range but which is the best bang for the buck. Of course I'll likely wind up with both eventually anyway.

Both my 997s have SSK in them, I think OEM Porsche versions, but use the stock cables. Both shift great. I have a set of Numeric cables in the parts cabinet that I'll install when the ends on a pair of the factory cables break. So that's another option, is to just do the cables and the OEM SSK if you already have it, as that's my plan.

Installed titanium wheel bolts today and most importantly got her back on the road. The last time the car was started was November 1st, so it’s been too long.

The titanium bolts look great, but as a weight saving measure 30g/bolt means nothing.

It’s been a long winter and while it was sitting It got new tires/tpms sensors, new gearbox oil, cleaned the TB (definitely flattened the idle), and new Rennline phone mount.

Good people to deal with. Pricing is very reasonable, especially given the high quality.
Did you get the lock sets? They really look great!

I debated on whether or not to get them, but I haven't yet. I agree, they do look great.

Put my car on the battery tender as I don't know when I'll be driving it again.

Was changing the cabin filter, and noticed how dirty the area under the cowling is. Cleaned it up with a shop vac and a steam cleaner.

One is certainly the GPS antenna and I believe the other one might be either the radio or the cellular antenna cables. Factory installed this way on every car (I believe it's a loose wire if PCM doesn't have GPS).
