I used VHT spray paint. Left the calipers on and masked them off. In hindsight it might have been just as easy to take the calipers off.

I have a t-shirt that matches the decal. Lol

Finally got rid of the chrome Turbo badge.... plastidip so the next owner can revert easily if they want to.

 

Nice day in Michigan. Took her out for a 70 mile ride. First day out of the garage since December 2019

 

Took her out early in the morning for a quick drive to the lake. All the good roads are at least 3 hrs round trip and the lake is about 1 hr.

 

So so good.

Not even mad.

 

Reprised our local region spring Bluebonnet drive from 2018 after the club drive that was scheduled for today was cancelled due to Covid-19. Was better than I expected with hardly any traffic on Texas FM roads. Did come across another club member doing the same in their 991.

 

PCA group in southern Dallas are canceling all group rides.

 

I installed a new throttle body and Fabspeed air intake. Defintely noticed much better idle and smoother drive. I suspect the smoothness came form the TB. I doubt the fabspeed will make any difference but I've had sitting aorund in the garage for almost a year, so I decided it wasn't doing anything sitting in the box.

I still have a set of motor mounts that I'll probably do next weekend.

 

Plasti dipped the spokes black to see if I like it before having the painted. Any opinions which looks better?
