Like everyone else, I'm hugely impressed. Great tone and no downsides. In combination with my factory PSE it really gives the best of both worlds. In normal mode it sounds the way a 911 should sound. With the valves open in sport mode it sounds like a high-end R-Gruppe car. Can't believe I waited 5k miles to do this mod! So happy!
Sharkwerks and PSE retrofit was one of my first mods my 09 4S PDK. Sounds great and not too loud imo, although I've never heard it from the outside!

Default Trying out new shift ****

Picked up new shift ****, also going to experiment with new steering wheel and e-brake soon.

Tried first with stock boot but will likely switch to black leather (wheel and brake will be carbon fiber with black leather).

Swapped my summer wheels temporarily to enjoy the warm temperatures. Freshly painted lobster forks!

Fun weekend. Wet drive out to local dealer (Niello Porsche in Rocklin) for coding of second key. $195 to code, got the fob from Suncoast so cost overall was cheaper than original quote. The 997.2 key feels heavier, nicer feel in my hand.

All the guys at the dealership were super nice, can’t fault the service. Free poster for the garage was a nice touch.

Wash and hydroslick on Sunday, then a quick blast out to the airport as my 2yo is obsessed with planes.

Also took the gunk off my PCM buttons with an alcohol wipe from work. Took all of 1 minute.

Sunday blast post wash.

Loaner car at the dealer. I wanted the GT3, got stuck with the hybrid

Next day off: Rennline fire extinguisher mount and HalGuard extinguisher.

To follow that: Numeric shifter, cables and PTX change.

Had some very minor stone chips touched up and added PPF to the front end today so this won't happen again.

Thanks. 996 is getting rims refinished and new summer tires in next few days. Initial comparison, my 996 MT is quick, nimble with a long 3rd gear that is a joy to play in. Steering is precise and the car feels like its on rails...video game like I sometimes describe it. The new 997 PDK with its FSI 4.0L, is simply explosive!! I really haven’t driven it much other than on my 800 mile interstate trek at highway speeds, but i can clearly feel the 50% more hp. Steering feels less precise, but when I finally had a chance to go WOT i realized this is really a track car impersonating as a dd.

Picked up from Ebay member mcv911 - just need to specify screw on vs. blade, wood tones (approximate), glossy vs matte wood and polished or not for base. V happy with look and feel after driving a few days. It's modeled after the original 917 *****.
