Seriously? Drinking bourbon and beer and then max performing your car?

Coils and plugs. All six looked like this with cracks on both sides. 60K miles. I think they are original.

Yeah I have been professionally trained. Don’t try this at home Is
stupid. Now remember you only live once. Like Farruko says in his song Peppas: “You live your life I live mine”, time will end sooner or latter.” I see
a script for a New movie:
Charles Bronson : “”Deat wish 2000 The flight of the Turbo”. “

I personally know of two police officers on the board, and as you are stateside, I would counsel you not to admit to breaking the law and wreckless endangerment.... it is enough to have them show up at your door and charge you.

Now, if you were simply having a laugh at our expense.... good one, you got me....

I’m in the Houston area, my next door neighbor is a Houston police officer that has a 1000 horsepower's demon. There are places here in Houston were the police officers will not go to, I just know, understand my boundaries. On Interstate 10 6-7 lanes at 1 am in the morning you are likely to see a 2000 hp twin turbo lambo doing 200 plus mph, you just need to know where you are at. Six months ago there was a guy with a 4000 hp mc Laren hanging around here. At the right time around here, you can do 200 mph at interstate 10.

This is the third time I've seen Luis talk about driving under the influence on these boards. One time he chronicled it with photo evidence.

I've long had him on ignore, as he's constantly off-topic. Would love to see some moderation take place - maybe a little vacation? I don't know how his post of teenage girls on the beach didn't earn him a break.

Technically Luis is not violating the TOS so there is not much initiative for moderation.

It looks to me the folks here are addressing what needs to be addressed. Whether Luis heeds that advice is up to him.

I wasn't even shopping for another 996tt just yet, but a friend of a friend needed to sell his stock 996tt ASAP. I bought it for a very low price. After I picked it up, I didn't have time/money to mod it. I personally don't like how a 100% 996tt drives, just my own preference.

So the car set in my garage. I think I did 100 miles in 2 years. Finally late last year, my wife said "either work on this car or sell it". So here we are.

Boost hits 1.1bar IIRC. I spoken/worked with few of the well known tuners. I do not know who you are speaking with, but just reach out to Sam and be done. He will not steer you wrong.

What are your plans for your car? If you're doing basic mods like exhaust and tune, then just get Cobb Access Port and use their V2 tune. No need for anything else. Shoot me a PM if you want to discuss further. Always happy to help.
one of my friends has his 996 getting a rebuild bigger engine from FSI (Flat six Innovations ) AKA Jake Raby. My buddy is getting a 4.0. Anyway we were in the group chat yesterday as I was telling them that now the car is night and day compare to how it was before the headers and exhaust. Most of the lag is gone. The new exhaust has 0.16 back pressure, anyway we know that on turbos back pressure is no good. Anyway, as they were asking me about the future tune and we were discussing boost this came out. Raby who has rebuilt many mezger turbos had this to say. Nothing over 1.1 bar, the rods can’t handle it and you’ll finish with a disaster. Here is a pic of the conversation.

Mr Raby is probably the best rebuilder for the M96/97 engines and I’m certain he knows his way about our turbo engines.
