The car really does look better with 6 pots at the front.

Yep, Conti Extreme Contact Sport Plus. I run them on my M3 as well and like them.

Can confirm you were criminally undercharged for those seats. The things I do for love...I mean, friendship....

It would appear the Console Gods agree with you and punishment was doled out.

Invoked traction control on my way in this AM, I have found the limit on my favourite early morning twisties.

Over the last week…
Front diff removed, boost leak test, replaced the throttle body o-ring, changed oil, changed from dual 250cc meth nozzles to dual 500cc, ran some logs, and received a refreshed tune for race fuel with 7500 redline. Ready for the Shift Sector 1/2 mile event this weekend. Even though I am going to be one of the slowest cars there, I am still excited.

I was thinking 7500 may be a bit too ambitious for stock heads. I have a 7500 redline and sometimes see 7900 on data so you have to account for some overrun. Shifting at 7200 should help

I finally got around to installing the GT3 oil dipstick, (after the parts were sitting in a box the past 3 years) new motor mounts, replaced faulty oil pressure sensor (2nd time in 3 years) pressure was reading 1 bar with engine not running.

Next couple of days I will replace the alternator brushes and voltage regulator, replace coolant tank, and finally replace transmission mount with upgraded 997 mount.

Whew!
