got it out this weekend for the first time in 4 months. felt good to be behind the wheel again. a few more things to do but i'm going to try and get as much seat time while the weather is still nice and then address them when the car is down for the winter.
New clutch master cylinder, bled and drove. Haven't driven in a while, drives like a new car. Bleeding these clutches is probably one of the more annoying jobs.
I bought the O ring for the power steering reservoir to repair a leak which was constant for about a year. Just when I'm about to start work, it stopped leaking. Still the proper amount of fluid in the reservoir. I guess it was overfilled.
Installed a PCCM Plus, 997 shifter with function first kit, garage door opener and some USB ports. Productive time even tho the CarPlay and Sirius are giving me fits and Suncoast told me I have to take the car to a local Porsche dealer to check the new radio. Next up is some reupholstering of black with red stitching and new seat foams. I also changed the bumperettes for some beautiful painted version.
G8r - What is that button just above the wiper interval dial? That's the spot for the interior light switch on an 01, but that looks like a button for some other function. Thanks.

That's the Targa convertible top button, but it's widely used as a garage door opener, which is what was done in this case. See this

IIRC that is the 996 Targa switch that folks use for the garage door opener mod (it is detailed in the DIY section). My question to @G8rJimbo is where that cupholder came from, it looks like it is 3D printed and fits into the ash-tray delete. Do you happen to have any other pictures of how it mounts in there and what size cup/bottle it'll hold?

Finally mounted tires to my new Apex forged wheels. I ordered these back in January and they have sat in my garage since May. The car is going on BAT soon with these wheels, they look amazing and are a perfect fitment.

Yes, he's on Etsy and eBay. You can see the link here. He is also a member on here and has posted in the marketplace area. He also created the Scangauge holder you see in my pics, along with the blank buttons made to hold the USB ports.

looks great! Glad the products are working out and appreciate the free advertising!
Reach out 911 “fam” if you want something like what’s pictured. I’m 3D printing and having arguably too much fun with it.
