I have a set of Rennline ones I never installed because I didn't want to drill the pedals; I'll be looking into those now, thank you.

Cheers,

I had a great car weekend. Took my car on a mini road trip to go camping/surfing with the boys and put the most mileage I've put on it in one weekend since I bought it. I also washed it for the first time in three or four months, finally.

Getting ready for September 2 track day at Sonoma Raceway. Pulled all the wheels in preparation for brake flush with RBF600, inspected all the suspension and hardware. The brake pads for my Brembo GT BBK are amazing in that they hardly wear, probably because the pads are as big or bigger that the pads on my pickup truck. Checked the trans fluid and it was down about a pint but no leaks. Its been 3 years since I changed the fluid, there must be some ooze because there is no obvious leak, just some grime on the side. working on getting a good external mic set up for the go pro so i can hear the exhaust. i also got my new front facia completed and it looks great, body shop did great job. Went for the first spirited drive with the new set of PS4S tires and they are great, no more PSM interventions. Cant' wait to see how it does at the track as i have not been to a track day since i have installed the H&R springs with B8s and the Eibach sways.

I prepped it for a new windscreen to be installed tomorrow. Is there anything I should be aware of? Safelight is doing the install with OEM glass. I removed everything off the glass and all the trim. What holds the rain sensor on? It looked to be some sort if hot glue.

When I had my windshield replaced I didn't do anything. The technician handled it all, and did a very good job. I tipped him for a job well done.

Windscreen installs seem to somewhat luck of the draw... I've seen Safelite do some absolutely horrific installs locally, including cutting right through the vin plate in an air cooled 911 when removing the old windscreen and a bad seal on a friends 996 Turbo.

My only advice would be to watch them like a hawk and have them STOP if you see them doing something stupid.

I really need to finish my gauge install and get back to driving my car. It's been way to hot to get in my garage lately, 104 today.
