changed the oil and made a huge mess... omg the speed in which that oil comes out of the sump was like a firehose... i think i need a deeper catch basin since the oil just bounced off the top and shot everywhere...

can anyone recommend oil drain pans they are using?

the driver side turbo drain is also seized on and the allen bolt looks to be stripped... i may ask my mechanic to see if he can get it off next time i send it to him for something...

My catch pan shown above is 6" deep.

I put my Turbo on Rhino Ramps and the catch pan on the floor (to give an idea regarding what kind of distance the oil has to fall.)

I've never had an issue with oil splash/mess.

I drain the oil tank after I drain the crankcase.

In case anyone was wondering or would like to know: The total oil tank capacity (or, the amount that comes out if you only drain the oil reservoir tank) is ~6 qt.

I did a partial oil change to install this:

Should have much cleaner and faster oil changes from here on out!

Whatever that thing is with the compound turbo setup is something I would most certainly like to try.

Japanese car culture is, so, 'cultured'.

Looks like a lot of fun.

We used to sell a lot to the gas and timber industry. I haven’t been in Canada since 2013, but I have many memories, driving the hell out of snowmobiles and they took me to my first Hockey game,

Canadian through and through, with some Brit thrown in for good measure.

We have been known to put a few away.

Default Minor maintenance

Put in a quart of Mobil 5w-50, installed a Bluetooth adapter on my CDR-220, fish out what I hope is the last of the foam for a while from the vents, vacuum, wash, and fill-up with a can of injector cleaner. Rain is almost done today, so I'll take it out for a beautiful 72 degree evening in KC. Hope you all are enjoying your TT today as well!

Mounted the 615s, did some inspection, and pulled it off the lift.

I am amazed that at 55k miles, there is no visible wear on the PCCBs.

Impressive technology to say the least.
