Just make sure you make clean cuts...

I also like that you have the car in your (an) office. The best I was ever able to do was put my BlackBird in my living room with dedicated floods on it, and also matched the Gen Metal paint with a nice, dark olive color. It was pretty cool until the house burnt down - not bike related.

Looks awesome. I've been debating refinishing mine back to the original silver. These look a little darker.

As such, we are in the process of completely stripping the car down to the tub to install a weld-in 16 pt 997 FIA approved cage. Once that's done, it's going in for a respray of the interior to body color. I already have brand new aero for the car which should provide a huge improvement to downforce over the existing set up. We are also installing 996Cup carbon kevlar doors and plastic windows. We should be under 2800 lbs with a 1000lbs of downforce and 800hp at the wheels. Should be fun. While at it, since the gearbox it out of the car, a Motec M150 ECU will go in with larger turbochargers. It will be a completely different car.

Needless to say, the existing interior and Clubsport cage will be looking for a new home.
bigger turbos? Does that mean new exhaust? If so, I call dibs on your current UW system.

Default More welding

Some of you will hate this, I had the coolant lines that were pinned taken apart and welded. Came out great. Pressure tested to 30 PSI with my plumbing test fittings. Kudos to Bill Pfister at Eurotech Automotive in Framingham, MA.

I've had it since the 80's. It's the first digital watch Seiko made which makes it kinda special, to me at least.

Yes, me too, until I broke it doing something stupid on a skateboard, also, in the 80s...

Very cool to see it still going.

I didn't remark about the Stilh, now if it had been a husky it would be different.

...not sure how universal the powercoating colour codes are, but these are 'hyper grey' centres, and a high lustre brushed + cleared lips (and satin black inner barrels for the DAILY brake dust)...somewhat low-key but still pops nice

German car, German saw...no cutting corners, unless you're carving...

That is going to be nuts! Great winter project, enjoy! And my winter project is a cosmetic OEM aerokit installation and painted to match :-)

Thanks John. I'm pretty excited about it. Should be the biggest jump in performance from any mod done to date. Hope you are enjoying your beautiful 991TT in good health!
