@rufrob I'd love to see how you did that. I do a lot of driving in the middle of nowhere without street lamps, so having a bit more brightness would be excellent for me.

Picked up a new playmate today for the TTS and TT...

2021 C8 'Hard Top Convertible' (HTC) Z51 track pack.

First impressions in three hours of ownership?
.
  • Looks fantastic, and much better in person than pictures typically capture.
  • Amazing what GM can deliver for the price point.
  • It gets a stupid amount of attention for a $75K car.
  • The car is in GM's torque-limited break-in mode for the first 500 miles, but I'm afraid it's going to feel a bit pokey swapping off with the Turbos.
  • Need some nice canyon drives to really get a feel for what it will be like.

Slap a pair of turbos on it, then you'll have triplets...

Yup. And while ~500 HP is nothing to sneeze at, I think it might feel a bit pokey vs. either of the other Turbos, especially at Colorado altitudes. Some low pressure turbos kicking it up another 100 HP (if they can crack the ECU), would take care of that problem.

I don't think the've cracked the ECU yet, but people have hung turbos off them already. Without the ECU adjustments though, not really a complete package.
