I'm pretty partial to a solid shift, makes for immense satisfaction when nailing the up/downshift.

Well yeah but this is a notchy feeling before it goes into gear. The higher gears are pretty smooth.

That might be more of an shifter alignment issue. My numeric shifter/cables are smooth.

Is there not even a small bump before it goes into gear? Virtually all transmissions have a slight resistance before the synchros do their thing. From what I can tell, adjusting the shifter inside the vehicle only moves the position of the shifter relative to a nominal position. I was advised to look at adjustments on the transmission side. I will put it up on stands today or tomorrow.

I would say that the adjustments on the inside are the same as the ones transmission side. You are either making the cable longer or shorter, at either end, yielding the same result. I may be far off, but I do not think I am.

You're probably right but I would like to tinker with things. Also need to do motor mounts and tranny mount, so no wasted effort lifting it up with my super duper ghetto lift bars.

Re-adjusted the front ride height. I am going to re-do everything this weekend.

I also managed to get my car flashed back to stock, thanks to Todd @ protomotive. It's def a bit slower now but I want to drive it around stock and shake somethings out before I get an exhaust, hybrid turbos, injectors, etc

Sometimes just a little bit going into 1st, but mostly it's smooth into first and smooth into all the gears.

Adjusted the rebound/compression on the shocks/struts today. Need to dial it in more, ride is super supple but when cornering it feels like the shocks/struts aren't controlling the springs.

Completely normal. Until you start talking back to them...
