got her up on a lift to confirm that i have two weeping rads ( center and left ) and confirmed that after 5 or 6 spoiler re-bleeds the pump is finally weeping as well. re-bleed ain't gonna work another time.

so -rebuild or finally use my "$100 bag 'o bolts" i got off ebay 10 years ago. still in box lol. i think my car is crying/weeping in unison with me for the loss of my COUNTRY.

rads ordered and also a new rear sway bar. ( cracked flange ). been a tough couple of years for the car and me. but - - FTW.

@2fcknfst

Those IC's look good. Who did the coating?

@k9turbo

Did you go with CSF rads? I've heard good things.

A guy out in Langley - Kool Coat. Same guy who fixed the Ti tips.

I am pretty happy with it - if these supposed turbos ever show up from Germany (been waiting almost a year now...) I will have them coated by him as well.

i gave them serious consideration and i saw my bud and former tech install some on another 96t when i was last there.

but i'm now in a place geographically where i am subject to not only ( near ) "book time" but also a reluctance to do ANYthing not "OEM".

you know how "some" shops are. there's where i'm at. so BEHR's center and Right side. saved a few hundo from the CSF's.

in other news: anyone have a working used spoiler pump they might "part" with?? PLS let me know. i'd like to save the functioning wing ONE LAST TIME lol

2004 purchased with 68K miles about 6 months ago. . Picking it up from the shop today, replacing rear brakes and installing PSS10 coilovers. Lowered front and rear about 1". Can't wait to see how it drives.

finally get to use the $100.00 bag 'o bolts i bought from an ebay entrepreneur ten years ago! the spoiler will now stay fixed in the up position. oh well.

Yeah, like a winner, I took them out of the packaging, checked them out, then put them back in the packaging without taking any pics...

Will try and rectify today.

So, today, SDEMatt, gave me the opportunity to drive his 996, with a Markski tune, and yet to be defined turbos...

I could immediately tell that even though they were not flowing what my K24s were, they were absolutely hitting harder down low than my x50 setup was.

It was a bit disappointing that his GT3 clone decided to eat the biscuit as this would have left his turbo in my hands for longer, butttttt, I must say for city driving, k16 hybrids are most certainly desirable, and I look forward to spending some more time with his turbo...

Also, his interior is so much better than my dog trodden interior is, was...
