height doesn't matter. but ownership of a countach requires one have a rod stewart haircut - circa '82.

fcknfast - those are great seats btw.

i concur. my mileage is in similar territory and with most every bolt on available with a 1.2 tune and hybrids. but that is the "sweet spot".

pretty sure this motor will live nearly forever. even if i won't lol. but a man must know his and his motors limitations. if longevity is to matter.

They look quite comfortable. Are they heated ? What is that latch in the cushion at the front ?

Is the new transmission in yet ?

No, not yet - I am waiting for the new interior bit, the last piece of the puzzle, and they are supposed to be here 3rd week of February, so I see zero point in taking it apart twice - I will do it all at once.

Historically, I have been known to 'break', or otherwise render 'useless' interior pieces when left to my own devices...

So with that in mind, when the console is removed to replace the shifter cables, I will have it put back together with the renewed pieces.

So, theoretically, my damage path will be limited to swapping the seats out...

But thank you for the offer.

No, I calculated the diameter and length of the tubes based on my engine displacement and drone rpm range and had a local shop make them to my specification. Those are actually not Helmholz resonators. They are 1/4 wave resonators. Completely knocks out all drone and changes the tone of the exhaust. Without them, the 3.5” straight pipes had an unbearable ear shattering drone and sounded pretty bad, very “farty”, not good. The 1/4 wave resonators made it sound deeper, quieter, and more like the typical X-pipe. Pretty amazing change in sound dynamics, almost hard to believe.

What is that latch in the cushion at the front ?

Sorry missed this earlier; it pulls the cushion out, and down a little - the hope is that a little more adjust-ability will make the longer drives more comfy.
