Does anyone know what a stock 996 Turbo will do (approximately) in terms of speed in a 0.5 mile race? Altitude, temperature, and wind make a difference so I'm speaking in general terms.

I never did a standing 1/2 mile but the back straight at Sebring is 1/2 mile long and I used to get to the braking zone at the end of it doing about 145mph. If a standing start got to those same speeds that would be very impressive IMHO.
My TT had K16’s plus good intercoolers, a UMW tune, a milltek exhaust, and VP 98 fuel for what it’s worth. Entry speed onto the straight was roughly 40mph
Test fitted a headlight I’ve painted the insides satin black. Not sure it does much for me, might look into the after halo ring type. I thought it would rock my world but I’m ho hum on it.
So I know @kamlung is going to laugh at me but here is my question:
First oil change on the 04 is coming up. While it's there, I'm thinking about dumping $8-10K into it for more ... power. It's a X50, Kline exhaust and COBB tune.
