18141297[/url]]Anyone aware of any RWD-converted C4S sales recently? Been toying with the idea of selling mine sometime in the nearish future. Trying to get a sense of whether the RWD conversion will have a notable impact on the price.
(As for the "why" - I only have so much garage space and I'm now on a mission to find an example of my dream car before they become unaffordable)

Given how hot the C4S is right now, it would probably pay to revert it even if you have to pay someone to do it.

This listing made it through as a C4. The BaT copywriters are struggling to keep even basic model designations correct these days.
BaT is definitely about the volume since before the acquisition, and moreso now. Private sale really is the way to go for a serious buyer.

It is really sad. I am not a crypto investor but I was just over on the Terra Luna subreddit and oh my goodness. Feels like the world is a global pyramid scheme right now, where the haves are openly scamming the have-nots. Really rough stuff.

I am sure that it will. When I was selling my Audi last summer I had more than one person offer me Ethereum for it.

There is a classic investment book everyone should read before investing about market manias called "Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds". It was written in 1841 by Charles Mackay and it continues to be one of the most relevant investment books in history. You can find it on Amazon for around $10.
Yep, we have are living thru the unwinding of a mania today and unfortunately it will be very painful for many.

Fortunate for us that "Extraordinary Popular Delusions" excludes Type 996

I know someone who's really smart on the subject but apparently when it started crashing and was pegged to the dollar, it actually made it worse and was magnified by people buying on the drop. It essentially crumbled in a way that was catastrophic. Most of my crypto is Ethereum, Cardano and Shiba which aren't too expensive so I'm not sweating it, I've read that someone lost $10mil overnight. Hell part of the reason I bought the 996 was when I sold my Doge... I can say that gambling on magic internet tokens Crypto got me my Porsche.
How many people truly believe that "cryptocurrency" is a real thing that will supplant (or even supplement) fiat currency? Not the ones who talk the talk because they have to to prop up the *coin schemes, but the true believers. Are they even out there any more? I suppose there's still a set that likes having an asset that's easy to move around and more difficult (though not even close to impossible) to trace. And unlike fine art, there's nothing tangible to have to care for (though at least the art can be insured). I still like mega- and ultra-yachts as a way to store wealth, since one can live on them. But the operational costs are extreme. As recent events prove, though, it's nice to have a few hundred million tied up in an asset that one can literally sail to a friendly jurisdiction.
"Crypto" is just another market that was propped up, and then fed, by the health of traditional markets and the low cost of money over the past few years.
Glad you did well. You may as well play the slots.
