Funny how the narrative on the 996 has changed on RL over the past 2 years. Same can be said on yutube. 3 years ago, there were very few 996 videos on yutube. If there were any videos, it's was about the headlights and imsb. Today there are thousands of videos and very few talk about the headlights. Most importantly, they gloss over the imsb referencing a fix and focus on how-to-do items or upgrades.

Hah! That's the great thing about the 996. If you add the side skirts, modern wheels that are wider which extend out to the edge of the wheel well, and a front spoiler lip, the car looks 20 years younger. I would also say that your turbo front bumper looks more modern than does the gt3 front bumper as well. I can see how they can confuse the cars birthday.

Totally agree my gruppe all have more modern and expensive 911s but mine tends to get almost as many positives as the gt3rs and gt2rs with my guys
