I have the same delivery date, 9/11 but my port is Houston. Maybe there will be two separate ships. Also leaves on 8/7.

Interesting, wonder if 9/11 is the official release to dealer date of the 2021's? Seems a bit too perfect that the 2021 911's are released on 9/11.

Should have my car in my driveway within 2 weeks (pending no holdup at the port)! Already have the clear side markers ready to go on as well

That is all. Just wanted to share my excitement with the group. Will be 5 months from order to delivery.

Good luck and I cannot wait to see your final build.

Found out today dealer was jerking me around. Called PCNA and gave the my commission number. No order to be found. I was able to remain calm. Called dealership and bypassed Sales manager(The one who took deposit and said order was placed) and went to general manager. He tried to explain,Said only 4 C"s coming onto country in first allocation. Trying to trade with another dealer. He said give him a few days. When this all started in May they wanted my trade right away. I did not want to do this and they were low balling me as well. Sold my 2012 to the dealer I bought it from ( got $5500 more than they offered). They did a courtesy trade so I did save 3000.00 in taxes. Figured I could survive from Middle of June till mid September. They dealership is under new ownership.Faulkner Autogroup is like one of the 10 largest family owned dealerships in the US. I bought several cars from them in the past and they are great to deal with. Called their Regional Vice President and left a message. He called me back in 10 minutes. Told him what was going on,He asked my name and already seemed to know what was going on. Told him I did not want to get him involved until I gave the GM a chance to make it right. He said he would observe from a distance and I should get back to him and let him know what the resolutioni is.I am damned if I do and damned if I don't.If I cancel order and get my money back I have to start over.If it works out and I have to wait a little longer I am going to try to work a better deal for my grief.I know I am A little to blame since I did not really understand allocation system. However in the past I went with friends to order Porsches and they just did the build put down a deposit, dealer told the when it would be in and it came in close to date.

Also was well pleased with the response from PCNA customer service. They gave me a case number and said they will follow mater from start until car is in my garage. Whatever good that does.

That sucks, sorry to hear about the issue you have run into! Hopefully with the people you have engaged they will work something out to your satisfaction, especially since you already disposed of your car and would lose the tax benefit if you had to go to another dealership.

it will work out,The VP said honesty is top priority at our dealership and we were not up front with you. They are building a new facility due to open in November. I now have PCNA involved. do not think they want any bad PR.

Yikes! I ordered my Targa from Faulkner. I hope all goes according to plan. One question - since you sold your 2012 to the dealer from which you bought it, why didn't you order your new car from them?

I am so sorry. Some people, or should I say - some dealerships?
