He might need to dig it up--I'm not sure it's that hard, seems like it's a <5-minute exercise, but maybe he's swamped today. I wouldn't worry unless he can't produce it, in which case I'd escalate to the sales manager.

that’s exactly what that means.... he prob doesn’t have one... takes 1 min to login unless they haven’t entered ur build in the system yet or ur not v200... meaning u put a deposit on a future allocation

That's exactly it. I always ask the SA what the build date will be for the car when putting down a deposit. Too many times, dealers take your deposit and slot you into an allocation months down the road.

I ask what allocations they have, then put the deposit down on the build slot that fits my time schedule. On this 992 build, he found an immediate slot with another Penske dealership in Ohio for a gray MT 911 C2S they had coming in.

No, Tyson’s. They traded with Beachwood. I may have helped a guy buy the car they were going to trade. It got a bit complicated. Beachwood has a nice MT convertible I was thinking about, too, but decided to build my coupe.

Or the SA doesn't have access to the sales side and the sales manager is busy and/or the SA is off that day.

This is why I usually end up directly communicating with the sales manager. It's just easier and more efficient that way. Every dealer is different, though.

But agree - I would demand an v200 print out ASAP. It's quite possible that he put a deposit on a V070 demand order. Printing out a build sheet is not complicated.

Exactly. A proper dealer won’t take your deposit until they can confirm your allocation. Some dealers just take it to put you in the queue.

I just found out mine is also on the Glovis Sunrise. I ordered mine on December 26th, 2019. So b****y well time. I unfortunately had a canceled ED in May, which added some delay.

Some updates from yesterday, SA did give me a V200 status with Comm. No.XXXXX. Due here 11-06-2020. Model Year 2021. But when I asked the link to the "Track your Dream", he said he needs to find out and will send it to me soon.
Im still curious if I do get a real allocation or bogus one.

If you've been given a commission number. You should be set.
