Hurricane Lee is chasing the Lake Fuxion roro ship carrying my GT3 to the Panama Canal. I am watching from time to time on the Marine tracking website and it looks like the ship is attempting to skirt around the edge of this category 5 storm on its way to Santa Marta Columbia. The ship increased its speed to 16 knots - the ship’s top speed it appears. Maybe this will help get the car delivered to my dealer- Walnut Creek Porsche-(S.F.) in time for delivery before the start of Rennsport on September 26th!
T he swirling area is the storm. Top speeds of around 200 miles per hour I heard on the news in the center of the storm. Hopefully the storm moves North and away from Central America. The ship must be running in rough seas I would guess even on the outskirts of the storm.
Updated image as of noon pst —- hope my GT3 does not get scratched and Those straps are tight! Seems like the storm is getting closer to my GT3! They need to throw some coal in the boiler and get that ship moving! Maybe the ship is headed for a safe port in Cuba?
My pictures showed up on 8/4 and it says production to be finished 9/26......WTH?
my photos showed in July, and exit production showed as 9/13. TYD even said the car wouldn’t leave for Emden until late October.
But now the car has been in Emden a couple days. So… don’t take what TYD says too seriously.
Summer factory shutdown accounts for some of the delays we see in production completion. Could be supply chain stuff or CT-assembly delays too, for custom stitching and whatever.

my car is on the same ship. Once it docks in Benecia it will head to Porsche SF. I’m hoping it’s not too rocky and the cars are tied down.
Would be helpful, if you don’t mind, to post status updates periodically when the ship gets to Panama and through the canal.
I assume once it’s near the port in Colombia the free tracking will start working again.

Well that gives me hope. My production start date is Monday 9/4. I'm not sure if it makes any difference with production but my car is Ice Grey also. My starting soon date was also 7/25 and freeze date was 7/10. So hopefully I see some TYD progress soon. Good luck and enjoy.
I have the same exact dates as you for my GTS. Apparently production has started but I haven’t seen any updates or pictures since then.
Today two new pics just showed up magically from TYD showing the car in paint shop and on the elevator. I was fortunate enough to get the wing without any delay and the more I look at it, I like it the better. Really can't wait for delivery on Oct 27 (move backward and fwd again from Nov 1).
Congarts! That looks awesome.
I ordered the GR with aerokit as well and seeing pictures of your build is getting me hyped.

It was delivery day for me! Drove my T home and it was awesome, a real treat to drive. Waited SO long to see it in my garage. My car spent almost 3 months at the factory for what I assume were "supply chain" issues.
Best of luck to everyone still waiting.
