No way! I was looking at the Martine app earlier and it looked like the Swift Ace was pulling away from the dock but just through it was an aberration. So on TYD, it is showing the boat docks, cars moved off, inspected and processed, and delivered to my dealer ALL ON THE 31st!! Lol. So if it takes 9 days to cross, it could be to my dealer on the 31st. Woohoo!

I just reached out to my SA because I (still!) don't have online access. I was originally scheduled for production on 7/17, with a completion of 7/24--I think this aligns with the other early-2021 slots?

I’ve got the exact dates you do. And I don’t have the online access yet either. They are telling me that the creation of the VIN will be the trigger for that access. And I called Porsche North America today and double checked that they have my email address associated with the build- which is a commission number until the VIN is created. And they do. So I’ll keep waiting. ...

First, the body is put together in the body shop, a process which takes anywhere between five and nineteen hours to complete, depending on the model.
Next your vehicle enters the paint shop where it will go through several stages of pre-treatment, paint application, and post-treatment.
Then your vehicle is processed through the assembly line where the cockpit and window assembly occur, as well as the marriage of the chassis to the body.
Should your vehicle include any customized options, it will then proceed to the custom tailoring shop where around 15,000 vehicles are personalized each year.

Yes, we have the same dates. Your SA should know if your car is in V260 status from the tracking sheet. Did you call Porsche NA about getting TYD?

The bad news is that the 2021 models have still not been CARB certified. Expected certification dates are as follows:
C/C2/C4/C4S: September 9
Turbo S: September 9
Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition: November 4
Targa 4/4S: October 2
It will be amusing if my car arrives way ahead of schedule but sits at PDI awaiting CARB certification. Leave to to the California gov't to continue to be inept and over-reaching. (BTW, that comment is based on living here for 30 years, not [necessarily] current events.)
I will try to call PCNA for TYD. I want my production line picture!!!

Born and raised in California, and glad to be out of there. I voted with my feet.

If my kids weren't loving school I think I'd be out of here. Although if their schools are remote this fall I might still be out of here. But I'll be back to collect the Porsche :-)
