Walter! What's happening??

I just noticed we have 24 for NITT Taupo, 22 for NITT Manfield and 15 for SITT but your name is not on any list? I thought youd be a starter for at least NITT this year....

LOL!.

No comment on the RS2...suffice to say Im sure its not the Mark Lyons car...good luck with the sale Matt :-)

The 997S is a great looking deal for someone on here. Has all the boxes ticked - S, 2WD, 6spd, NZ new, colour and spec as well as mileage! This would be great as a DD and/or weekend car...

Was searching out a lower seating position for the 930 and came across this.

Too cool. Wheels wouldn't be my choice but a very impressive but of kit.

Keen to do NITT again (great fun last time - even if I was tempted to stick with the hen party) but SITT is more likely. Could still be an NITT starter but need to keep the peace at home too. Need to let a bit of time pass since Targa.

Probably as a result of running over her lost chin spoiler on that last Targa stage, she had an oil leak after so Contis will be dropping the engine out in two weeks time to track it down.

Was worried as it was at the low mark on the electronic dipstick but it only took a litre to top it one band shy of the full mark so no other harm done (the car holds 12L, though only about 8 at a time can be changed).

What we really need here is an expert in 911 laparascopic surgery so these things can be done with the engine in place, or with it just lowered a bit.

I'll look to get a camera back there at night with a UV light to find the source of the leak but it seems to be out of reach from underneath the car so suspect it'll still be an engine out fix.

The only upside is that I got to put a 2015 Golf GTI Performance Pack trolley through its paces today as I had it as a loaner while Contis took a first look - technically a win to Giltrap's Cayman R loaner to Paul, but still interesting.

I've put a few hundred km's on the loaner GTI I've had while my car is in the shop. We should infiltrate the next VW meet up Walt... On second thoughts, maybe not.

Pel, that 930 looks fantastic!

All you need to do is spend $50-70K restoring yours to concours standard, and you too will have a $100K car?
For where SC's are in the pecking order of collectable Porsches I reckon they are better as $40k beatabouts so you can use them. A mad man would drop 100k on an SC.

Just a pity he's listing things as options that aren't! Twin tailpipes... err yes they've all got those. But yes a reasonable buy, I certainly wouldn't say a bargain by any means though. The 997 I'm talking about. As usual with all of MJH's cars that looks stunning and well cared for.

Regarding the TPC PASM module, yes Chris B it will suit the Cayman.

I have some very favourable pricing replies from the TPC guys but won't post that here. Suffice to say we will do well, so any you guys with PASM - talk to me via PM.

Sounds like a must have for owners of an older PASM equipped car. The 997.1 GT3 was often criticised for its PASM tripping it up, Im sure this solution would eliminate the issues there too...

safe travels mate!
