Pads are an absolute no brainer as long as you've made the decision re wear sensors or not. For track work you shouldn't bother with wear sensors. If you do want to use them then get new ones as they are too fragile in a used state to reuse.

Don't want to push my DIY barrow too much here, but when I watched Herman's pads being done at CCS in 2013 I wondered why the heck I didn't do it myself. I've changed all of my own pads since, including the Cayenne.

Thanks John. Have the full compliment of parts to refresh pads/sensors/dampers/bolts ready to go. Just don't have the tools. I should really buy a jack, stands and a torque wrench and just do it myself. Has to be the easiest maintenance work next to an air filter change.

Heres a cheapish Tipo 964 Cab (assumes will sell around 35K). Apparently the brakes are by a local bank, the wheels were factory supplied and its sporting a very rare 5 speed auto tranny! You just have to love the great lengths gone to to prepare the car for sale and photographs. surely a vacuum a wash and a polish wouldnt be too much to ask. You have to wonder if the owner is an enthusiast at all...

Run forest run. That car has been up before. It looks very unloved. I'd rather take my chances repairing the wrecked 993 cab than buy that.

Looks like the one that was at Contis (Peugeot/Citroen branch) a couple of months back.

Red Cayman S would be much better value though...!

Ultimate 997. Gen 2, 2WD, low Km, manual, NZ new, X51 power upgrade. basically a 2011 997GTS without the wide body etc. At 95-100K would be a lot of car and not easy to find another like it in NZ...

Maybe you are right John. At least the wrecked car photos were more carefully composed!!
