Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

Guess we have to conclude it was under priced then? This would suggest early NVR NZ New 6MT cars in good condition between 150-200K km are sitting in the mid 70s realistically right now...makes sense if similar mileage 5MT NZ 964C2s are in the mid 50s I guess...

Dunno what is a 964 C2 worth, the last one to sell was Doug's?
The LHD blue C2 was so cheap is sold back to the UK at $45K?
In the UK I think 964/993 cars in similar condition sell for similar money - this could suggest a car like Doug's is now worth 60-something if for sale?

91 964 C2 manual
71 911T
TVR T350C
Cole-Baker special
Fiat 128 YZF (Yamaha R1 engine)
Mercedes G wagon
91 Renault Sport Spider RHD (for sale)
Honda element
Ford Ranger
I think the 964 will never achieve the veneration the 993 has and will always sell at a discounted amount regardless of what the excited 64 owners will tell you. The highest price 64 I've seen sell recently was the bagged black c4 at 58k. That car came with jewelry that would appeal to a smaller market but obviously one that existed. Only recently has the grey c4 @ 45k withdrawn from TM after month or so. I am curious about the Amethyst cars and why potential buyers have shied away from those cars . I have a optimistic valuation from I Knott but that was for insurance purposes and I am realistic about what the market would bear. It's all irrelevant in my case any way as Mr B isn't for sale. I would interestedly follow the sale of a manual c2 as they rare as rocking horse do

When I bought mine , I trawled the world looking for a RHD manual and there was nothing even remotely worth buying for less than $50-55k , with many UK cars actually over $80k and then I would still have to get it here and pay the additional costs , along with buying sight unseen . I had to keep upping my offer to get the only car I new of and ended up under where I would have gone to so happy days for me. I recently asked on the 964 forum how many were thought to have been made and best guess was less than 1500 ,possibly less than 1000 world wide , only 619 still registered in the UK today . Quite rare given the interest today . I would buy another here tomorrow for 60k and know it was money well spent....
RHD MT 964 & 993 are cheapest in NZ (compared to UK).
Table below taken from Adrians book. With 33K C2/C4 Im a bit surprised there estimated under 1000 RHD C2 MT coupes on the planet. Its possible. Back in the 90s the rule of thumb was around 22% of production was RHD. Now that is less than 15% most pundits agree (growth markets being LHD markets, tiger economies etc). The overall numbers for 993 & 964 are very similar.

I looked at 964 RS's back in 2001 ( was living in the UK then)Drove several , offered on one only to find that insurance cover was going to be £6000 pa on a car then valued at less than £20,000. Walked away thinking I will pick one up when I have better garaging ( storage problems in NZ are nothing compared to London! ) , watched as they hit £45k thinking how ridiculous , now they are £150k+ and so actually far too valuable to use how I would have wanted anyway.
Who knows where and what these cars will end up being valued at? Whilst there is an industry constantly looking for the next model to hype and inflate in value it's any bodies guess where this will go.
Will be interesting when the music stops to see what shakes out.

Will do. All cars are as ready as we can make them. Currently sitting in Chris B's apartment at HD watching car racing TV for inspiration.
