He's staying with us next Saturday and I fully expect some pressure, especially as he's visiting Kev on Sunday who has two 944s to sell.

35kg with slider and side mounts. Just take out you passenger seat aka Herman and youll emulate the same weight. If you get the solid mounts and bushes in in time you are good for a sub 1.17. It will be a great finale for your car and way to uphold the 993's reputation (hopefully until I can get out there perhaps next year).

Brakes are ready with Dean. If you decide you want them grab them this week and Ill flick you the account details. Otherwise just let me know. Mats will have to wait till Im back as I have no idea where they are....

I think there were 8 in class 2 made up of 3 hour entries and 6 hour entrants who cross registered in both 3 & 6 hour events. Of those only 3 finished... and 2 of those (both Seat Supercopas) were in the 6 hour.... do the math!

Mylaps has the results but the overall is a mix of 3 & 6 hour entrants. This list of DNF's is a long one which is pretty sobering.

Already into the 16's today, hoping solid side mounts, bushes and finally getting the car corner balanced will yield an early 16??

Hi Mate, Rims are in storage. PM me and Ill organise those for you. Z221s are shot after SITT but you can have them taken off and put new ones on if you like. They are heavier than your 17" be give better feedback and sharper turn in. The rears are 10.5 with an aggressive ET so run -2.30 rear geo and you will be fine...

The OZ are very light but have road tyres on so will loose you time over Z221s. Chris M has the same OZ for sale new with new road tyres - drop him a mail and do a deal - hes thinking very reasonable money I think....theyll get snapped up quick I guess..

That's awesome mate. Especially given your car is basically stock trim. I had this thought a 993 could crack a 1.15.8 at HD and you've given life to that. I reckon you can do that soon. You have the laps/experience. The rear sub-mounts and bushes may add a few tenths but more from feedback and predictability than and outright performance upgrade. The LSD may be the key to getting into the 1.15s. I believe its possible. With my 50 laps it wont be happening any-time soon - but you can do it - get the rear tub sorted, get the geo set, drop the passenger seat and I think youll be surprised. A 1.15.8 would be a great way to retire the car - that's 2s slower than the modded 96 GT3s!

So no need for a 944 then! That's pretty impressive when you don't have seats to hold you in - remember what that was like, leaning on the door around the hairpin.

So it's still a road car then....?

well done to the lads.
I can see more of the 'gang' getting into this. share a car a get big mileage in doing endurance - much better than sprints.

A good Sunday morning video to watch. Great content and video production. Not sure who he is, but he's got the bug bad. 911S, 911T, 964 race car, 928. Plus a Ducati. Looks like a lost brother to Dave and Macca.

Dave watching that video you have a LOT of work to get your interior sorted.

Yes.

I have never played with my adjustable shock settings, once I stiffened the car a little (from setting 5 to 7), the back end stop snapping out and behaved itself a little better, and then I could lay power down out of the corners with a little more confidence..........

Still want a 944 though. Looks like John's going to beat me to it

I can't remember his name. but he works at Autothority, he purchased the car off Aussie ebay for a bargain. I saw the car at Autothority about six months ago once it had just arrived.

What's the exhaust system? Is it cat plus secondary bypass? (What I'm going to do). Sounds great
